What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good morning/evening folks, a stonking 6.5 on the dice, thanks for the kind words after my Hba1c results, without all your advice, support and general good humoured banter this T2 malarkey would be a far more miserable place.
Have a lovely day all.

"..Hong Kong authorities evacuated a building in the middle of the night after two people got sick in the same building. Local teams believe that the virus spread through a bathroom pipe that was not sealed properly and carried it to different apartment bathrooms. Of those people who were evacuated, four are now sick..."

Telegraph blog page.
Not sure how true, be looking for that to come out in the next day or so.

No...YOU did ALL the hard work.

But I do agree 100% with the thread being the best thing since sliced bread...( ;))

On a long, lonely walk, it's been the forum and especially my spiritual home on this thread that shed the most light and warmth, even on the darkest days.. God Bless em all.

Have a good day, fella.

Morning… in bed before midnight last night a much better sleep...off to clinic this morning fingers crossed for a good INR score...coffee ready...shopping ordered online yesterday afternoon will pick up on the way back...house is relatively tidy compared to 'Kittengate' all toilets rolls hidden away...paperwork to complete later...woke to a 6.5

Good morning everyone from a very moist and blustery start in the dark and dangerous north.

The wonder wheel of wonderful weekends with grandchildren and a safe passage home came in at 4.6 this am.

The storm during Sunday resulted in quite a few train cancellations on both Sunday and also Monday morning, resulting in a game of sardines out of Birmingham. Luckily, I had a seat reserved but did have to thank the person sitting in it for keeping it warm. The train was still groaning under the weight of isle passengers as we pulled into York where I changed trains, this time, onto a pleasantly uncrowned one without all that human exhaust. Nothing of note on the damage front when I got home, a couple of garden lights and a plant pot over.

Daughters birthday today so we are out to dinner early evening. I am looking forward to the challenge of the menu but it will probably result in me leaving nearly everything on my plate. It’s trying not to discompose the chef whilst at the same time trying not to waste so much food. Probably end up with two starters.

Have as wonderful a day as you can. Koffy calls.

Good Morning and a 6 today.

A bright and crisp day, calm with a sprinkling of white stuff on north facing slopes. To bike ride or not? May cycle too the clinic to find our why they have not been in touch regarding my HbA1c blood test.

@dunelm happy daughters birthday, enjoy.

@karen8967 hope all goes well with the consultant.

@gennepher sprimg/Autumn/height of summer all captured. I see one of those hillside wind bent trees, I know what you mean about finished or not, look forward to seeing what you decide.

Find time in your busy days to reflect on all that's important. Take care.

6.2 this morning and it looks like a very poor attempt at snow was made, which is a shame as I lover of the white stuff. When I were a lad we'd have proper winters not this sissy half-baked nonsense ;)

5.4 for me very wet and blustery here today got appointment with consultant today all boods will be done ,have a good day everyone

Good luck with that, I've been putting mine off but it has to be done :)

I'm glad to hear the show was great. And glad you made it home OK. :)

Definitely worth the long journey and the weather. It’s nice to be home again though, had a very exuberant welcome back from Dennis.
How have you and KC been? I will look back over recent posts in a minute, any closer to moving?
