It’s probably an answer I should know already but I have been unwell with the cold lately. I have been eating very healthy. Just done my BM and it was 15.8.
Is it normal to have high BM when unwell?

Hi. Yes any illness will push your blood sugar up. When you say you eat healthy does that include keeping the carbs down?

Your blood sugar levels will be raised whilst brewing or having an infection.

Yes reduced carbs.

Yes - illness will usually raise levels, and so can stress, some meds, etc. It's not just carbs that cause our glucose levels to rise.
