Hi Everyone,

I type 2 for ten years under control but suffer from mental health issues.

50 years old with two boys 7 and 9.

Rubbish and forums and very scared at the moment about coronavirus
 
Welcome to the forum. Lots of people are worried, it doesn't help if you have anxiety issues. If you don't have other underlying conditions then you will probably be fine.

Thank you so much for the reply. Been bottling up the anxiety must admit.
 
@Charles 1969 - I happened upon this today and thought it was a potentially useful resource. It's always good to review the things we might be able to influence when we're surrounded by "stuff" that seems out of our control.

The creator of the document is a clinical psychologist working with young people living with diabetes.

Mental health issues in times of crisis are no fun. (Not that they usually are.) You're not alone.

Hello and welcome,

Mental health issues never help- many people on this site also have some mental health issues so will absolutely sympathise. Then of course having young children can also be challenging.

But the good news is that you have found this site. The people here are awesome and there is always someone to read what you've written and provide support.
