Covid 19

We are not really considered to be the most vulnerable unless you have another condition like kindney disease or perhaps hypertension.

For the time being "stringent social distancing" is the wording being bandied about, so stay 1 to 2 metres away from everyone else until better information is available.
I am 70 later this year, diabetes type 1, but really well controlled, and I take blood pressure tablets, so I gather I have hypertension, but because my diabetes does have fluctuations in test results, some very low, and quite a few higher ones, and hba1c results, last one lower than they wanted, and 2 months previously it was between 8 and 10, I do not know how well my immune system would cope if I got the covid19 virus

and generally speaking Jane, none of us do because it's a combination of many things I guess, overall management of it, age, general health, metabolic health, strength and on and on. Take care. x

Hi Jane, I think if I was in your position (retired?), I would stay out of the way for the 12 weeks suggested. I know everyone has to get to the shop but apart from that I would remain at home. x
