What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Out of Africa. Just found this old favourite on Netflix UK.
Aristocratic Danish lady speaks:
"I had a farm in Africa....."
Some stuff happens in the film, not very much really. What is the film about? What is the point?
Director Sydney Pollack knew everything, and you will too! (The clue is in the title and the fabulous music of John Barry)

Do they do them in Purple. I do love to wear Purple. Oh, hold on, I could have a red one to go with my red hat.

This one looks like it might be reversible --

I agree John Barry was good but outshone by Mr Mozart in my opinion.. Mozart: Concerto For Clarinet And Orchestra In A

Lovely scenery ... I kept hoping Johnny Weissmuller and Maureen O'Sullivan would do a cameo. :)

Thank you - I love the ones you chose for me. I'll have all of them. The one you chose for yourself is perfect also.

Who gives a stuff what anybody calls President Trump or Prime Minister Boris Johnson?

Is it a coincidence that they both have blond hair?

Can an ex colonist of this fair country please answer this question.
Is President Trump wearing a wig?

It looks like a comb-over

Well they are both from New York they have many attributes in common maybe they are related.

@OldButBold mine are in White Lake just moved there from Brooklyn a few months ago.

I have family in Paterson, Passaic, New Jersey also

I grew up with these guys. They're like brothers I've never met. And tonight they've been the highlight of "One World Together At Home." As many years as I've known this song, and as many settings as I've heard it in, tonight it really hit home for me.

I thought this thread was all about friendship, chit chat and fun. It would be a real shame to let politics ruin that, just saying. All Saskia has ever done is be loyal to her country and if others disagree then so be it. I bet there are those on our thread who voted for Boris. Maybe start another thread in General Chat called Trump, Boris and Me then no one gets hurt here. Just a suggestion.

I woke up at 3 am to a very still cat under my chin. I posted a pic yesterday how close he is to my face when he sleeps every night. And my first thought was “Oh no, I have a ‘blinking’ dead cat under my chin.”

I couldn’t feel his breathing at all. No rise and fall of his body. So I am trying to carefully lift him, being aware that dead cats have an involuntary toilet reaction when dead...

I am slowly moving him, when he springs into life mid air, and shoots off to the bathroom to use his cat tray...

‘Blinking’ cat...

That’s enough excitement for one day...

Good Morning and 6.5, why I have no idea other than I slept a hour and a half longer than normal.

Much brighter start to the day than yesterday, everything growing, although some parts of the garden are beginning to look like a scene from some ghostly horror movie as we wage our battle to protect our produce from the beautiful but persistent Blackbirds, the mosquito net we are useing is white.

Hope you are all well and keeping occupied, although we all have plenty of time try not waste it remember once it's gone it's gone and becomes only a memory, make them good ones.
