I 28 year old ,62 kg, height 5'6 diagnosed with type 2 in november 2019. My HBA1C at that time was 9.4, have been on diet, no sugar intake, low calories such as "Jowar bread" and vegetables, carrot. Now my fasting is 122 and after meal is 196. Having numbness feeling in right leg and no sense in urinary area(no erection)since last 5 days. little pain in right testicle, lower abdominal. I want to reverse this diabetes, but these complications pushed me into depression. Suggest me what to do.

Hi. I think you need to see the Doc. Forget Calories as they are irrelevant. Think carbs and keep them down. If you can keep the carbs down hopefully the BS will reduce and help with the depression.

This needs a doctor first. Is it just type 2, or is there another issue?

If it is just type 2, then there are ways to improve and control the situation. It may be that you will feel better if you can eat better food: Jowar and carrot are both high carb foods- if you can stop eating that sort of thing and eat eggs or meat or green vegetables instead, you might feel better.

If there is something else going on, then you need to find out what it is, and then there will be steps you can take.

Please don't fall into depression though- there are actions you can take to make things better.
