Just wondered what’s the one thing you tried that is classed as a treat as sorts that shocked you and does not raise your blood sugar.
For me it was Cadbury’s highlights hot chocolate, I have it with almond milk and my sugars never move.
Anyone else tried something that they thought would raise their sugar but doesn’t?

Ate about 20 celebrations the other night, just gorged.
Needle never moved but I was drinking red wine as well.

I mean when you are testing to see what foods don’t spike your blood sugars, which have surprised you that didn’t raise it.
Do you have a testing meter sugarlisa?

Hi Lisa,

Given you have a meter is there any reason you don't test your blood sugar levels- I still test regularly after more than a year in the 'normal' range. For me it keeps me honest and lets me see where I am- I don't see me stopping testing ever.

Hi there, I think you are saying you were told not to test but given a meter anyway? You have a meter so yes, TEST. Otherwise you are driving blind, you will get loads of immediate information about what foods affect you. x
