That's a huge improvement in triglyceride levels. Were you eating a lot of fruit when you had the previous test ?Thanks - I guess I'll just keep going and hope things continue to improve in the HDL and Trigs department. The reduction in Trigs has been pretty quick initially, so I imagine that might slow down, but fingers crossed that by my first 3 month check (April), and next Hba1c test that all figures are much better![]()
I was a week into LCHF at that point and had had no fruit for a week (doc told me to avoid it all!). Prior to that I’d had lots of fruit juice and fruit salad, but I’m not sure how long that would affect trig levels for?!That's a huge improvement in triglyceride levels. Fructose is one of the things to avoid with hypertriglyceridemia . just wondering if that might have been the problem.
