I had my vaccination yesterday (I had Pfizer) and noticed my sugars dropping low yesterday evening, even woke at 1am in hypo which I haven’t done in quite a few months. Just wondered if anyone else noticed a low in their sugars after the vaccine?!
Thanks

I did on the day I had the Oxford AZ vaccine, but then the following 2 days were high. I'd just keep testing a bit more than normal. Take care.

I had the AZ one yesterday morning, got the shivers about 12 hrs later for hour or so then BG's went up by about 6 but all fine today.

I had the Pfizer vaccine last thursday. All I had was a sore arm. No side effects at all

Had the Pfizer vaccine today, no reactions. No high or low blood sugars, stable all today. Sore arm which didn’t stop me going to the gym.

I had the Pfizer last month, didn't notice anything unusual in my blood sugar levels. I just had a sore arm & a bit achey for a couple of days

I had covid in October & BG's were erratic, unexplained lows & highs. I was vaccinated very early March & had unexplained highs for three days. Diabetic nurse specialist has no scientific evidence but confirmed that she has had a lot of calls from other patients

I had the AstraZeneca six weeks ago, had bad side effects for over a week but I am still feeling ill now

I had the 1st pfizer vaccine in Jan. Very sore arm and that's all. Will make sure they do my left arm next time lol. 2nd jab next week.

I experienced a drop in blood sugars for 48 hours after the AZ jab.
This just emphasised two things for me
- we are all different. Some people experience rises, and some people experience dips in blood sugars after the jab.
- when doing something unknown such as having a COVID jab for the first time, we must be extra vigilant with blood sugar testing.
