What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and to "mothers" of invention happy Frank day and a virtual bunch of flowers to all proper mothers, alas mine is no longer with us.

An interesting 7.5 this morning on the meter of mystery.

The forecast is pleasant for this morning in TilehurstTowers, then when Mrs J gets up and about, the prediction is for storm clouds, with lashing of instructions.

How things pan out for fellow posters, painters and gamers I know not, but best take an umbrella.
Me and me's are wondering what a LCHF roast dinner would be.
Stay well, stay safe and remember best not go too school tomorrow ( to, two or too please insert the correct too ) .

Good Morning and 5.8 for me today. After a low carb meal of Salmon followed by Yoghurt, seeds and Almonds, I was then tempted and succumbed to a piece of St Agur with 2 small biscuits and 2 glasses of red, well maybe 3. Conclusion, digging up tree roots raise
Yes - definitely was the digging up the tree root. No way could it have been the two biscuits and 3 glasses of wine.

Right on cue as I was listening to this chune young Josiah, young sparrow me owl. LCHF roast? It is whatever you decide it is just like it was before LCHF. For many that will be some form of meat for others not; that usually has heat applied but not necessarily;, some eat it with plenty of green veg but feel free to ignore them; there may be wistful memories of carbs or a kind of supercilious "I give thanks I'm not tricked by the eatwell devil " glow - which is not recommended. Totally self defined. Happy to oblige, just ask. Lyrics to TYCW

Evening everyone. 24°C and partly cloudy from here.

0745 this morning the finger jabbing produced 6.3mmol...i put that down to recklessness on my part eating shed loads and getting stressed over the toilet controls.

@muddycyclist @gennepher I pressed 2 buttons and soaked the bathroom floor. One is also a button for heating the loo seat. There's also a timer for how long you're sitting there. It all very perplexing and enough to give you constipation.

Breakfast another Japanese collation, lunch was roasted fish in a spicy sauce and dinner tonight shall be soup, chicken with greens and sauce on the side, followed by berries. Or at least that's what I've ordered.

Wished Mrs BRS a fine mother's day; said hello to the daughters, work video conferences prepping for my release back into society and sat in the sun following 30m of sit-ups n schtuff.

Call from the epidemic centre checking in on me then a text...

All in 508 square feet;)

Happy Sunday all!

Another wet grass day in Cumbria, its due to start at 0900 and the day seems to be pretty much covered with two spots by the Met Office.
I shall have to have my 30min walk round the garden with a golf umbrella if its not too windy!
Anyway, my body seems to have got over the Pfizer jab.
Mothering sunday today.
I am wondering how my wife will get a daffodil at our on line church service this am? I shall just have secrete one from the garden walk and present a crushed one from up my jumper!:)
D.
Glad to hear! Yay being vaccinated!

Good morning everyone of a day of shiny promise here in the dark and dangerous north.
The wonder wheel of Thai red curry with courgette noodles came in at 4.9 this am - cool - not the curry.

Didn’t go out yesterday - a bad night and then a catch up sleep later in the morning. Still, paid those annual utility bills that appear each spring and did a bit of baking. Had half an hour of zoom with my mother, hilarious tales of learning to walk again after her hip operation and some of the exercises that she has been given to do, “I never did get on with Ashtanga Yoga, you need to more Crane and I am a little Partridge.” Parents are having their second jabs next week.

Art - not sure - experimenting with wet brushes is a risky thing - never mind - sanity is not all it’s cracked up to be. Big hug to any mum who is isolating on her own today and hope everyone has a spiffing day. Koffy time.

The artwork looks very Oriental ... And pretty fab

Alternatively - stand back, mask up - prod buttons with a long stick
It's a mystery. I ran the iPhone translator over the panel and it said "get fire extinguisher and hope" ;)

5.2 this morning after a very disturbed night. Both dogs seem to have picked up a mild tummy bug and we took turns letting them out in the garden during the night.

Both dogs seem absolutely OK this morning. Both humans are a bit tired.

good evening all :)

4.2 today

a quietish day inside because it was cold, wet and windy outside ;) Did a bit of stitching up of my sweater (not my favourite bit :hilarious: ) and a bit of tidying.

Hope your day is treating you well :)

@gennepher - like the effect you've given us, it's like a portal in which you can replay your cherished memories, very well expressed :)

@dunelm - I really like this, very evocative and fun with your three fisherfolk. You always manage your space so well :joyful:

@Muddy Cyclist - here's hoping you escape the worst of the tree root aches.
I like your painting, it's an impressive piece of art and I still love the way you've dealt with the water :) I enjoyed 'buttered peas' thank you, I think it's worked well :joyful:

art bit - sorry, just a page from my little sketch book today, my computer can't 'see' the storage drive where I keep my scans, (last time that happened it was just a loose cable so hopefully an easy fix :) )

Love the drawing. Skillfull...

I must admit that I haven't seen a Diet Doctor recipe that I have been tempted to try. Reading your post it looks like that was a good decision.
Have you tried choczero? I am addicted...just as I am to peanut butter

Hope they're ok and the humans too of course...

A bit of madness wins the day. A fine soggy painting of mountain terraces and tall trees.

Fbg 6.9

These pictures coming from nowhere and no thoughts are working out very well. Remember at the beginning of the year you mentioned illustrated verses, maybe these pieces of art are where you should make a start, verses next? :)

The diet starts tomorrow...
I wish the food was awful.
The soup is very hot and lush sour too.
It's balmy - I'll sit outside with a drink after.
FBG prediction for the AM - hmmm 7 something? This evening it was 5.7 which considering yesterday's excesses that was pretty good. Have put on no weight either, which is a miracle.

Also, I've designed something here in solitary - a winner I think

Happy Sunday all ! chicken.jpgunnamed%20(1).jpg

Which function supplies the suppository, I should hate to make a mistake? ;)
I've got it all sussed. It even massages, where or what I'm still not sure. They'll leave an English instruction manual they said!
