So I’ve been having no more than 10g of carbs for about the Last 6 weeks,
Last night out of nowhere I had Diarrhea and it last into this afternoon and even having Imodium and the max dose didn’t really do much. because I hadn’t eaten for about 20 hours and because my sugars were a bit low I had some toast.
Since then my stomach seems a bit better, still bit achy but nothing like it was.
It can’t have been a bug because I don’t go anywhere and I haven’t left the house at all in over a week. It could potentially be something I ate but I didn’t feel I’ll like I would expect with food poisoning, I did eat some sausages that were a couple days out f date (ran out 14/3 and it was the 16th- I and got in a muddle with what day and date it was] but I don’t think that would have done it because they were smelly or anything and had been in fridge whole time.
I did have omaprazole due to acid yesterday about 3 hours before it started but I have spills before with no ill effects.
my only thought is maybe my body is protesting about too much keto. I’m not a cream person in general but I am having an awful lot more cream just because I have it in the morning to help with eh my soul has cream in it, I have keto fudge which is cream.
But I just wondered whether there comes a point where the body maybe just doesn’t like the strictness of keto and maybe whether I need to up my carbs slightly. It’s a bit disappointing because my bloods are on Monday and I was hoping to get my hba1c as low as I could but not sure it’s worth being ill and maybe I need to go slower.
