I've been eating 20g carbs on a keto diet for the last 5 years and have recently been diagnosed as prediabetes! So now I'm 6 weeks into carnivore diet, eating beef, lamb and some fish. Pork, chicken, duck and eggs make me feel rubbish and hot flashes worse. I drink mostly water but have an occasional cup of chicory or rooibush. I felt great to start with, my arthritic wrists improved, but 6 weeks on carnivore I don't feel as well as I did and my wrists hurt again-it's very disheartening.
I aim to do the 90 days so I'm half way through. I cannot eat too much meat as it makes my blood sugar higher. Any suggestion please?
