Hi to all,

I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my r hip @t the moment will need a hip replacement in 1 year from now really painfull &stiff &swelling up when walking i do have walking sticks but my wrist is still in a support so carnt use yet.
My blood sugars are up too and have put some weight on too so i am not happy @t all.
Is their a good oa forum anyone knows of at all.

I have only seen data about osteoarthritis of the knee, but Dr Gary Fettke (an orthopaedic surgeon in Tasmania) has sucess at treating osteoarthritis by using a 'Low Carb way of eating' to both reduce weight and to reduce inflammation.
