Hey everyone,

Has anyone experienced wrist pain in both wrists?

Just trying to find out if it can be caused because of diabetes or some other reasons.
So i can rule out.

Gp wasn’t much help.

Do you for example play any keyboard instrument? I used to get pain in both wrists from trying to play the piano too fast without being overall relaxed. What else could cause strain in both wrists and how often does this happen? I don't think I could ever have blamed diabetes for it. It would be interesting to know a bit more. Hope this is sorted out.

Hey,

No I don’t play any sort of instrument.
The pain in my left arm starts just under elbow and runs down the arm through the wrist up to my index finger thats my left side and now i have noticed similar pain in just my right wrist

This is a small excerpt from https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/tendonitis

What causes tendonitis and tenosynovitis?
The cause of tendonitis and tenosynovitis is often not known. They may be caused by strain, overuse, injury, or too much exercise. Tendonitis may also be related to a disease such as diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, or infection

I'm not suggesting this is the answer, just that it might explain your GP's stance. Often steroids are used which would wreak havoc with your blood sugar

Not a tennis elbow, is it? Just try and give it some rest... Maybe a below-the-elbow brace if it is a tennis arm. But @Grant_Vicat is right, if it's a tendonitis a doc'll often just put steroids in, and that can mess up your bloods badly. A physical therapist may be a better port of call. For both answers as to what it is, and treatment.

Hope you feel better soon!
Jo, who had more help from her therapists than from the many steroid shots in hip, shoulder and whatnot over the past decade

A quick Google came up with this
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/peripheral-neuropathy/
Peripheral neuropathy develops when nerves in the body's extremities, such as the hands, feet and arms, are damaged. Common symptoms of peripheral neuropathy include pain, numbness, tingling and weakness in your hands, arms or feet.
Seem like it's not just our feet that can suffer with neuropathy,
