Type 1 Foot problems concerning

Hi all can some one maybe help pls?
I'm having problems with my right foot. I've developed some sort of blood type blister under the skin on the ball of my foot. It's really painful and doesn't feel like a blister at all it feels like a wound or bruise when I stand on it. I've also got extreme pain all over the top of my foot and am being sent for X-rays and blood tests next week. One doctor is convinced I have a diabetic infection while the other is convinced I have a verruca and have something wrong with the top of my foot. Anyway I'm wondering if anyone else has had any type of foot problems and how did it start it any symptoms etc?? I've had this for nearly a month and the doctors won't decide on what they think it is

Was this treated, any update. I know its old but i am searching for some answers as well...

All I can say is take this seriously because any probs with feet and diabetes need sorting out quickly, if the doc thinks it’s an infection has he given you any antibiotics?
It well known here about my problems with foot and legs or rather lack of them , and I’m not saying this is always the end result ! It took me nearly 30 years of really dreadful blood sugar control to get where I am today ,
All I will say is keep pestering the” powers that be “ to get the treatment you need . You can certainly help the situation by trying to keep blood sugars within range as much as is possible , elevated sugars are normally a good indication of an infection .if at all possible an appointment with the podiatrist might be a good idea.
I hope all goes well with x rays and blood tests

Yes but you gave correct advice. We should never ignore foot problems. They can turn nasty, very quickly.
