Dr B is dead against keto as he thinks the diet risks giving too little protein, especially for children. He advocates a very low carb diet (roughly 30g carbs daily with protein replacing the missing carbs and with whatever fat comes along with the protein). We know his latest thinking on this topic as he still conducts a Q&A session on Youtube towards the end of every month and it frequently comes up.
