What pop can I drink?

Sounds stupid but I'm going to a family memorial soon in a pub and I've just been told I have background retinopathy so just been drinking water not pop and I don't want to drink water all evening so curious what I can drink that won't spike my Blood readings.

I would have Diet Coke, with ice and a lemon slice to make it look better. Beware Fevertree tonic, the low sugar version isn't.

I often have sparkling mineral water, with lemon slice and some ice. Pretend to myself it is gin.

I start with a small glass of white wine AND a very large glass of fizzy water. As I sip from the first, I top it up from the second so the wine gets weaker and weaker. No one ever notices, not even me!

If I'm not drinking alcohol it's usually soda water. I'll drink Coke Zero but ....I don't trust those syphon things that bars use.
