Hello all,
So our 12 year old is coming up to a year with T1.
Always a battle with it, but we are working through it with her.
Good days, bad days.
But its the everyday little things that are starting to really upset her.
Especially as she has started secondary school and made new mates.
So, in a nutshell, who likes sweets?!
I'd simply love to know what folk go for, if Haribo are on offer and
you know you really cant have a handful.
What, if any are the low carb alternatives?
And dont say and apple or some carrot sticks.
I'll not get anyway of thats my solution.
If a walk home from school ends up with some cookies or Starburts appearing
then our little one simply feels very left out. Its only one part of the pain she's feeling with her
diagnosis, but at the moment its the one thats hurting most!
Not, the injections for once.
As ever, thanks in advance.
