id really like to to do keto
not to reach ketosis but
to help my high blood sugar
im tired of using so much insulin
for nothing
its like injecting water
no matter how much i inject it wont
handle the carbs

the problem i have is that
im not sure i understand keto
ive read several books and posts
about keto
but i dont know what to eat exactly
i have the food lists
but only seem to be able
to eat a few things off them
mostly eggs fish and cheese

restrictions---
no milk yogurt
and i have 0 teeth
no pureed foods

so how can i add fat?
(not avocados)

so how can i add fat?

If you eat eggs, fish and meat, pick the fattier fish (salmon, for example) and the fattier cuts of meat - 25% mince, any fatty cut of beef or lamb and there will be no need to add fat. Cook your food in beef dripping or lard, job done. If you want to add green veg, do so, but no need. It really is a simple way of eating.

This might answer some of your questions https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb/keto. The same site also has low carb information you might want to use as a stepping stone https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb before going full keto.

As you are an insulin user you must monitor the effects of the diet change carefully for hypos. Dropping carbs from your diet (especially the more of them you currently eat) can result in a very quick change in your insulin requirements. Do you adjust your own doses and carb count or are you on fixed doses? If you are on fixed doses your dr really needs to be involved. Some links here about medication and low carb / keto. https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb/with-diabetes-medications, https://bjgp.org/content/69/684/360 and https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fnut.2021.688540/full (the latter two aimed at drs).

Lol, if you don't enter ketosis and allow your body to make ketones; it's not keto. You can go low carb which is different, but it's specifically ketosis that offers the Metabolic Advantage
