Have been so far off the wagon I could barely see its dust along the trail. Somehow sudden return of motivation yesterday afternoon.
Will try to read back a bit and respond, but as we all know that's a deep rabbit hole and it's possible to get lost for hours there.
Don't like this new format.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and a hearty welcome to all newcomers to this outpost of this rather helpful site.

A 5.9 this morning on that meter of deception.
.
Results from yesterday’s hospital visit, more tests required starting on Friday, oh hum. Roll with the punches.
Stay safe all and no I’ve not been invited to the funeral, good job really dark suit, brown trainers and white socks might not look quite respectful.
An appreciation for the attitude.

But a brotherly arm for hassle it entails in so many ways , visible & non visible.

Stay well, greaser

A funny for the description..

But a win for getting back on track .

Definitely agree it can be hard to keep up, and easy to miss so much .

And a hug...no one likes changes.
But I've kind of gotten used to it now .

Sure if they moved it back I'd be in the throng complaining about that too .. :hilarious:

" And we get live to Harry at ringside, folks....

Hello Studio....
Let me tell you the crowds in uoroar.
The fights just ended, & the referee has stopped the fight in the 3rd round.

Many were saying this Young challenger , could be a match for the wily champion , but a careful start by the champ had the challenger over confident, and & stunning right, ended this is a contest.

Basil Da Fist was taught a lesson by the Welsh Tornado.

While we're waiting to talk to him, let's just have a few words with the champs trainer, Angelo DeGennefer........"
The Welsh Tornado has been in covert training for some months now, perfecting his secret signature weapon. Basil Da Fist did not see this coming.

The Welsh Tornado is already planning his move for the nex match...

Signing out...Angelo DeGennefer...

Morning all

A nerve tingling 8.3 the other day.

Rather a nice dinner probably too late in the day , the cause.

Had the furry nephew out for an extended walk & play
(I e-scoot up to the local park, he plays fetch & tug...when not distracted or forgetful to fetch ) and we usually meet up with Lauren after her work

A nice day but playtime ran over.

All 3 of us nodded off on the couch, once back home..

Oh the joys of getting older...:hilarious:

Hence the lateness of dinner.

Back in the 7's today , so I suppose it's made me grateful for such low numbers ...haha

Today's it's back to Deep diving my accident memory & see what i can fish out this time .:sorry:

Oh, and it seems I suffered from a concussion or knock to the head for a few days after my accident, according to reports....mmh

Would explain a few things ..:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

Btw...
Thank you all for the kind words over that.

I know now it was just cold facts.
& Some of it I, myself had reported.

Set out as statements they read very different from how I had said & meant them.

A review with solicitors to touch on a few points, in the next day or so.

But other then the contentious 'no shows"...it all reads fine .
( My overthinking after reading too small a sample  )

Even discovered i broke my wrist as well as my hand and various other bones ...:arghh:

Only complaint is it's too detailed and reading back, its rather bleak & in your face with some of the wording..tbh :wideyed:

Have your bestest day possible.
Arrivederci my friends.
Hugs for the issues on his report .
It is difficult to straighten some of these things out.
And I have experienced the 'set out as statements they read very different from how I had said and meant them'. It is another's interpretation from the point of view of their profession or personal attitude. I did take issue to my thing, and employed someone professional to 'challenge' the report. Two years later, after constant wearing mind bending effort on my part, I got nowhere as to getting the initial report altered/amended, but, I am aware of how the system works now. However, I did manage to alter how the system worked for future people getting caught up in this kind of situation. And although, apparently I did a lot of good for others, it was a totally unintended consequence on my part.

Sometimes/a lot of times, you have no idea how things are going to turn out. But if you do your very best, every step,of the way, you are a winner.

You have your very best day x

Thanks fellow greaser, those lyrics are nominally right, but Oasis should be confined to an oasis, they always sound flat to me, but I am tone deaf hehehehe.
@SlimLizzy, sometimes it is hard to keep up, but does it matter if you don’t, me, me’s and myself sometimes struggle and their are 6 of me.
@gennepher once again thanks and that cat that has adopted you has a swift paw.

I tested my blood this morning and have a different result on my left hand to my right hand L-100 (5.5), R-106 (6.0). I tested it twice . Is this something normal if I am right handed. What results do left handed people get.
Welcome to the thread - perfectly normal for two very closely taken readings to be different - grab the first one, although reading number two is perfectly nice.

Hello chums and welcome @Russell808. For some today is Holy Cross day on which Basil (the herb not the glove puppet fox of blessed memory) is important. Interesting story as to why if you are bored/ fancy a break from rolling "news." I really like basil (bayzill?) so hopefully it should work with my usual salad or I may find some charcuterie containing basil. @dunelm I'm glad the meal yesterday was a success and that food and the prospect of splendid bread sounds like a perfect reason to leave the LC reservation. I too am really enjoying the slow reveals. @gennepher fascinating video of Big M asserting his authority. Drive through blood test for me later but first I'll go all hunter gatherer and find some basil and pain au raisin for JKP when she awakes. MIL had both COVID booster and flu shot yesterday. No 3 son needs the venerable RR as his Nissan requires a part unavailable in the UK potentially up to 12 weeks. He will love the fuel bill :bigtears: For those of you in the UK who enjoy Autumn have a great day but do spare a thought for me over the next 6-8 months. I don't have SAD but the clothes needed and the impossibility of reconciling seasonal UK food with LC is a pain. Pip, Pip Old Toots.
Oh dear - but that RR might still be less draining on the pocket this week than charging an electric car.

I have just been out all morning from early, came home, went in a deep sleep....
I had a bit of time to spare when I was out, so tried on my Pixel phone to read and respond. But I couldn't. I had to wait until I got back home and onto a different device which lays the page out a bit differently.

I could do it easily from the small Pixel phone screen. before this update. But not now since the update. I read words really wrongly on this new layout, especially on the small pixel screen. A few of my dyslexia problems are the words move to different places in the sentence, the words run down the page in 'rivers', and more. I am still playing with colours/sizes for the screen etc but haven't come up with anything yet that enables me to read as I did before.

I also find it hard to tell easily if I have responded to a post. And it makes my eyes tired and dry out easily.

So apologies in advance, if I miss some of your posts or misread them.

This is just to let you realise.

When I write my morning posts, I don't write directly on here, I write them on a note app that has a green background, which keeps those words more still, and not run like rivers down the page. But that can pose problems when I copy and paste on to here. Sometimes the site won't accept me pasting from my app with the green background (sometimes it does let me post), and I have to paste it into a white background app, and then re copy and paste in here. And then sometimes I get fed up with the whole process of that., and blow my top.

It is my problem, and I just have to work through it...

He definitely packs a punch....
Yes, more warm clothes needed @ianpspurs
Hope blood tests go well...

Thank you for that reply

I knew others would have some experience of such .. Nice to hear a first hand account.

First time ever for me, so comforting to hear.

Sad but also wonderful that what didn't work out for you, you got to learn made life easier for someone else. I call that a WIN.

And good advice.
Gratefully received

Cheers @gennepher .

The following night...
The Revenge of the Fox

Creative is a collage of some stills from the above video.
The previous night the fox had received a clout from Midnight's paw. Now the fox is doing the unmentionable right in front of Midnight who is lying very still on the corner of the swing. Midnight appears not to react. Then a noise out of frame startles the fox. But Midnight does not react. The fox looks at Midnight, then decides it might be better to leave. Finally Midnight opens his eye as the fox goes up the garden path...

Have your best day...

That’s not good. I wonder if you also have scotopic sensitivity (Irlen Syndrome) - I used to screen for it during another life and still have all the filters - rose, blue, green…… so I was going to suggest using a coloured filter over a white screen with large black letters in Ariel font (the readability is a bit better with Ariel I think).

Yep, that’s what foxes do

Good morning everyone from another drip dry start here in steamy windows land and the kingdom of the mozzy. Dad and I got into trouble yesterday - he for buying 2kg of tomatoes at the market, me for letting him! How does that work? We are reliably informed that the heat gauge has been set to a maximum of 25 degrees today but let’s wait and see. Art bit, plodding on with it. I have also started (barely) on a tree in my parents garden. It may or may not develop. Have a wonderful day if you can. I am currently enjoying koffy.

Thank you @dunelm
I will look into that, Google it in a mo.
On Kindle I do use a typeface called OpenDyslexic, which helps me a lot. But I have never seen that typeface as a possibility anywhere else.
