I have been type 2 for 35 years now 68. For the last two years my feet have become increasingly numb, getting worse as the day goes on. My GP sent me to a Podiatrist who's lame answer explained it was the nerve endings in my feet. Since then it has got worse and despite keeping to a healthy weight swimming twice a day EVERY day it has steadily got worse. My feet throb and feel as though I have had them in ice. Cant believe there is no further help for this condition, Ant advice will be greatly appreciated.
