Help needed here,

How long in general does it take for Fiasp Insulin to get absorbed in the body ?

Mine starts showing up after one hour of the meal consumed ...

Is that normal ?

Also is 15 units of Tresiba taken everynight the norm ? Thats what I take.

Hello @pearlzo Fiasp should take effect within 10-15 minutes, are you taking it before or after eating ? Also what does a typical meal look like for you ?

There isn't a normal in regards to t1 management, as other factors can affect insulin absorption and efficacy.

Your tresiba dosing is also unique to you and your physiology so everyone's dose will be different too. Why do you ask ?

I find Fiasp is very dependent on how high my blood sugar.
- If my levels are around 5 or 6, it takes less than 15 minutes
- If my levels are above 10, it can take 30 minutes to an hour
- If my levels are in the 4s, it will work immediately.

Very Informative reply.. Many thanks :)

No worries

Just another point to consider is how good are your injections sites, so any lumps, as this too can delay insulin absorption.
