Hi,
Long time member but first post,
I have recently started using a Dexcom patch to track my BG about 3 months now, after 25 years of finger pricking I thought it would give me a lot more freedom, but I have noticed since starting using it my BG are all over the place mainly high and having to correct daily which I wouldn't have had to before, just wondering if anyone has experience this or has any suggestions
Thanks Mark

HI @MarkDonnelly and a (belated) welcome to the forums.

Can I check a few things
1) And assuming you are insulin dependant.
2) Are you T1 or T2
3) Do you think your blood sugars were all over the place before the dexcom but you just didn't know about it? (You might be able to tell from your hba1cs)?

T1, and my BG has been steady for years, but lately they are regularly 18 to 20, I take humalog and levimir I'm thinking of coming of Dexcom as I'm sure it's not doing me any good?

Hi Mark,

I am a new member too, signed up a while back but just didn’t post anything. I am also a T1 diabetic, diagnosed in 2021 and still learning. Iv just started using the Dexcom One from the Libre Freestyler and still always check my BG with my BG monitor and it’s almost the same readings. I would say contact Dexcom as they may be able to help.
Regards
Roberta
