Has anyone ever qualified for this free trial? I think it’s a con as I’ve tried 3 times with different credentials and been emailed back after an hour telling me I don’t meet the requirements, with what they ask I fail to see how anyone wouldn’t qualify

Try contacting their support or customer services to ask why.
Or has one been ordered from that address before, ever? I had a similar problem trying to use a new customer offer on flowers but it turned out hubby had used them 3 years before

Are you based in UK, and do you use a UK internet supplier, or log onto the internet from a work computer?

The reason I ask this is a few years ago, I needed to contact Abbott about something whilst in Central America. I had a heck of a job trying to persuade them I was only there temporarily. Similarly, my old employer was a French company, and when I logged onto their systems, I was routinely in Paris, until I logged onto my loccal environments.

The internet can play games with us sometimes.

Otherwise, I have found Abbott straightforward enough to deal with. They want to make sales. Their hope is that the free triall will hook you to their product.

Like the others I think you may have been unlucky but I wonder if you meant to put the "GD" as type of diabetes in the title of your thread? It refers to "gestational diabetes". Would you like me or another mod to change the title to T2?

No I didn’t mean to put it as that. Yes if you could move it that would be great type 1 or 2 would be fine

Hi,

Had you used one before? Lol, when I was self funding I was offered the L2 from the chemist & tried it.
Then when the free trial was published I filled out the form & was politely declined. (They had it on my account records I had used one… ;)

@wozey , have you tried giving them a phonecall?
It may be that's all it takes to solve the issue.

You're the first I heard of to not get the trial, and I'm in countless diabetes groups on Fb as well as active on the forum.
If it would be a regular occurence I can't believe I hadn't heard more complaints.

Never made any contact with them whatsoever or used the product. I’ve not been diagnosed long, in the rejection email it says they will not be able to provide me with an explanation to why I don’t qualify
