A to Z for words in general

I say a word, and you have to put a word that starts with the last letter of my word.I always get mixed up with this game so .....do the words have to have something to do with the previous word or is it just any word starting with the last letter of previous word set me straight please

The original poster's intention was just to use a word starting with the last letter of previous word, but it's sort of evolved into this word sometimes also being related as well, which is just an "optional extra", and I certainly enjoy the little challenge of sometimes doing both.I always get mixed up with this game so .....do the words have to have something to do with the previous word or is it just any word starting with the last letter of previous word set me straight please
