Hello,

Good Evening from United Kingdom. I am Dushal Patel. I am new to the community for posting information.

My questions to the community are :

1) How do I reduce my blood sugar and reverse my diabetes in 6 weeks without medication? How much exercise must I do? What must I eat? Do I need to do yoga? Do I need to have sex for the frustration's diabetes causes? or is their another way of doing this?

2) How do I reduce my blood pressure? It is a little too high? Again what do I need to do? Is it linked to insulin and other hormonal imbalances?

With Kind Regards,

Dr D

Diabetes and high blood pressure can lead to Erectile Dysfunction, so you have a vested interest in getting both under control. sadly, you will find it almost mpossible to achieve this within 6 weeks. There is a little blue miracle pill for raising the dead, but no such remedy for diabetes.

There are dietary means of reducing the effects of both of these conditions and many here do manage their diebetes without medication. It depends on which form of dabetes you are experiencing. Have you been diagnosed and how long ago?

Hi, @DP1403
I see from a previous post you were diagnosed in 2009, first with T1, but later T2 diabetes. perhaps your aim to reverse in 6 weeks is a bit of a high expectation.
What is your current medication, if any? Also, what is your usual diet? Oh and how are your blood glucose readings?

Hello all,

My diabetes score today was 10.1 mmol/l. How can I lower this to below 5.5 mmol/l. And quickly.

My blood pressure today night was systole 94 mm Hg and Diastole 57 mm Hg. This is very good from what I understand about blood pressure.

That blood pressure is very low and no, not good at all. (For men it is considered low at 110 over 70, while 120 over 80 is normal). I'd think a dentist would know that, as a patient with a blood pressure that low is likely to pass out when getting up out of the chair, but, yeah... Not good, and needs looking into. I don't know if you use a home meter or a professional one, but if it is correct, it's something to seriously look into.

As for the blood sugars, lower the carbs. https://josekalsbeek.blogspot.com/2019/11/the-nutritional-thingy.html should help.

Good luck, and please, do get that blood pressure checked. You don't want to pass out in traffic, and get yourself and others killed.

Hello,

I have know that blood pressure above systole 90 mm Hg and diastole above 60 mm Hg is very good. Mine is not far off from this. The lose end is better because it will prevent heart disease and stroke in later life.

Why do you want to reduce your levels so fast?
It can be dangerous causing neuropathy and affecting your eyesight as your body is used to the higher levels.

The other thing to consider is that you will not see a significant change in your HBA1C in that time as this is a measurement over the last 3 months

Hello,

Thank you for your contact. I know that hight blood sugar is the cause of the damage to nervous and retinal cells. I did not now that time matters as well.

My HBa1C was in April 62 mmol/l. This according to me and my diabetic nurse is not too bad right now. I do want to reduce it by the time I am 40 years old.

Hello,

Thank you for your post. What type of diet can I have to improve my diabetes and reverse in in 2 months if this is possible for me to do.

There is nothing special about turning 40 - or 50, or 60 or 70. Make changes you can sustain your whole life, not for 2 months.

If you're fine, you're fine. But if you're experiencing any of the above symptoms, do take it seriously. Low blood pressure can kill as well as a high one can.

Hello,

I was not actually diagnosed. I had a virus from the poor living conditions that were in a student accomdation in London. I got an infection and then I developed pancreatitis.

I am not taking any medication. I am in the steps of reversing my high HBA1C score. Last year it was 62.mmol/mol. This year and last month it was 53 mmol/mol. This year I did a home test. It cost over £100 to get the test kit and to do it, It took 15 minutes. My aim is to get my HBA1C score to 22 mmol/mol by the end of the year. I am trying to do this by diet, exercise and meditation. I have learnt from yoga that by focusing on the problem with the yoga technique I can cure this blood sugar problem. I do not have diabetes, I had pancreatitis.

I hope that you understand this.

With Kind Regards,

D

Hi, welcome

I am not medically trained so please take my comment as opinion, in my experience having lots of sex will indeed reduce frustration, stress is a well known factor in raising blood sugar. As long as you avoid any obvious downsides like marriage or permanent cohabitation, sex can be a very useful tool in combating diabetes and general grumpiness.
Best of luck, let us know how you get on.

these were the questions I came on to ask - so thank you, this thread is very helpful
