Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
As suggested in another thread, asking if anyone has had a fructosamine test on the NHS and how difficult it was to arrange.

I am slightly anaemic and my estimated HbA1c from Libre 2 (long term regular use) is 6.0% but HbA1c is around 7%.

As with the majority of these diagnostic tests, it is usually authorised by a specialist.
Private medicine, I don't know!

Why do you want a fructosamine test, as it is I think, it is a replacement test for another test, because the test is intolerant to the patient and without looking it up, only used very sparingly?

Best wishes.

Fructosamine is an alternative to HbA1c where the number or longevity of red blood cells is abnormal.
The test does not rely on red blood cells.
