What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

I used to love the smell of chips but was always disappointed in the taste, particularly oven chips. I don't eat potatoes now but if I do get a craving for the smell of the chip pan, I just have a few celeriac chips or less preferred swede. They don't taste the same but they satisfy that want. :)
I have celeriac chips occasionally but I eat too many! Actually I’ve never tested BC before and after eating them, I must do that to see what my reaction is :p

7.2mmol/l
BBQ yesterday evening and I had a large bread roll with my burger including ketchup, American mustard, lettuce and slices of onion. Plus a small glass of wine (It’s getting worse as I remember what I ate!) I have about 2 glasses of of wine a year, I find it makes me feel funny these days.

I was thinking (or dreaming!) of those slim but oh so yum fries I’ve had in France with moules … maybe it was the sunshine, the holiday or the scrumpy cider accompaniment but that’s my perfect last meal, tbh.

I do like celeriac but mostly as a mash substitute, I’ve not tried it in my new fangled air fryer yet. The other chip or roast root veg I like is butternut squash, but it’s a bit unkind to my BG levels, according to the Libre.
