Selfish people, cruelty to animal's, and retail staff who see you in a wheelchair ♿ and will only talk to the my husband when I am asking a question or paying for something that really makes me mad
hello I am new to this, I have had a blood test which came back as pre diabetic hba1c of 43 mmol, I haven't a clue what this will mean to me, what are the normal limits if anyone knows and what should I do.
I saw a voucher somewhere about joining low carbon programme but can't find where it is now can you help.
I will be 56 in January and have just become nan to an amazing granddaughter I have two wonderful son's
I don't work as I have a few health issues and hardly go out unless with my husband have alot of trouble walking and moving I'm back under the physio again to try and get my muscles working.
Can anyone give me some sound advice on what's instore for me I'm rather anxious .

Hi Julie,

First off, you're just barely in the prediabetic range. (It starts at 42). So just a few tweaks in your diet and your blood sugars should go back down to normal levels, likely with no medication or strenuous activity required. https://josekalsbeek.blogspot.com/2019/11/the-nutritional-thingy.html <- this is basically what I did to get back into the normal range, and let me assure you, I was quite thoroughly, a raging diabetic, and had been for years before diagnosis. Thing is, a lot of people are never even told they're in the prediabetic range, as medication doesn't usually get prescribed until one's actually in the diabetic range. Before that it's shrugged off. You're catching this thing early, because it gets out of hand with symptoms and complications and whatnot, so... This really, really, really, is a good thing. Might not feel like it right now, but it is. Honest.
