My fiance ,61, has had diabetes 2 for many years. He's about 5'7", 150 lbs. He got a Stent in his heart in 2016, & has high BP. He's on a blood thinner & on metformin. He doesn't take insulin. Mid March this yr, he started getting a peeling rash on his palms & soles. It got worse. Dermatologist sd it's Psoriasis & ordered strong topical steroids, & a course of oral steroids & antibiotics. Rash got worse, but now it's looking better, bc of the steroids. He had a non fasting blood test & sugar was normal. So we don't understand why suddenly Psoriasis? Is it bc he's diabetic, tho sugar was normal? What else could cause this out of the blue, if sugar was ok? He has high triglycerides, tho he's on meds. Could his Psoriasis still be related to diabetes? Please explain. Thanks. View attachment 61649
