Libra on an IPad.

Hi,
Can you use an IPad for a CGM?
My phone is too old .
If so, which app is it?
When you type in Libra to the Play Store, lots of apps come up.

Hi,

I use an iPad. Issue is iPads don’t have NFC.? So activating & scanning a Libre sensor would be a no go..
I had thought of being an iPad follower from my Android phone just for the hell of it..

If you are on a tight budget? Have you thought about a refurbed younger phone? A fraction of what they cost new & saving the planet’s resources to boot. People seem to upgrade & pass on some pretty natty tech.
My last 2 phones & current device were refurbed.

Maybe someone has had luck? I’m all ears if they have..
 
I’ve looked in the App Store on my iPad and the official app doesn’t appear. I assume because it doesn’t have the capability to scan the sensor.

I:can understand why you are considering your iPad. Lol, I bought mine new. & love it for other things like music.

But my phones tend to get filled with builder’s dust & wig out or over heat. If it’s any help? The battery life on a Samsung Note 9 or 10pluss is a beast.. if using Libra 2 with a 3rd party app as a monitor.. Both mentioned to my mind, are fast too.

OK.. Just messing with my iPad mini6 & there is a development. I downloaded “Shuggah” (which was surprisingly compatible with my device.)
Now it won’t work directly from the Libre 2. No option for the NFC to scan sensor. But I do happen to have a Bubblan Bubble mini as a Bluetooth bridge I normally use for my stand alone watch. It works!

It suggests it also works with a Miaomiao bridge too?

…. But then, by the time you stumped up for the bridge if you don’t already own one. You may as well invest in a decent compatable refurbed phone.
