I had this as my gp (whom I’d never met) had ticked a box which almost said I wasn't in a stable condition to drive, which then caused me to loose my licence for 6 weeks. I obviously appealed as this wasn’t correct the gp didn’t remember this and said he’d put on the form I was mentally stable. The dvla said I needed a medical and all mine was, was sitting with the gp and going through question on a form. I don’t know why I needed to be there in person could easily have been done over the phone!
