What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Usually we zoom with our eldest at Warrington today but she is trying to pre sleep herself before the two of them volunteer at Cream Fields North tonight.
Pre-Sleeping never worked for me when I needed to do Nightshifts in the Beeb.

Dry ATM but rain later. If the rain came down in stair rods like it did the other day here, Creamfields will be quagmire fields which only fenmen have the correct web feet for!
D.
Son and partner worked creamfields for around five to six years before pandemic., Behind the bar!
A very good earner!

6.1 this morning, getting there (again!)

Weather has been atrocious since yesterday early evening, cold, set and windy, I think winter has arrived on the peninsula! The rain has been heavy and on on a hourly loop of downpour then shower, fine for five minutes then repeat, rinse and dry every hour! My front garden is very moist, the pond has returned and the heating came on automatically overnight! Just throwing money away to the power companies because of this really poor summer!

If you announce, your bill is going down, when it it is expected to rise. Are they right of wrong? What a shambles this country is, to its people!

Grandson has fallen asleep after giving me the run around for an hour, just getting a breath back, so round two can begin!

Did a lot of shift work during my car building days, sleep is a luxury when busy. And many sleep deprivation times to mention, the worst is getting up in the middle of the night, to go to work and because of home or social needs you are never anything but tired all the time! I could actually fall asleep anywhere, Mrs L says so!

Chores done, shopping done, garden not done!

Have a swimmingly super Saturday!

Hope the enthusiastic rainclouds, stay away for those out and about. However those anywhere near North Wales, I am wasting my breath!

Grandson is up and about demanding my time!
My best wishes as always.

Is there a way of taking it that effects you less?
Possibly a ppi or within Greek yogurt.

Has to be taken with food three 267 mg tablets three times a day got some anti sickness tabs from the doc helps a little but has drastic effect on apatite and taste have been told will get used to it after about a year on it also have monthly blood tests to make sure liver not affected some people can't tolerate it at all nurse at city hospital phones me most weeks to make sure I am ok.

Will get used to ir eventually just a bit of a drag at the moment.

the break sounds good for you. The walk from the Victoria to the beach and back would have clocked up a fair few steps.
It was such a lovely break. We originally were going to walk to the beach and around the woods and then Mr K was going to get the car so that Archie didn't have to walk too far. However, Archie was determined to carry on walking so we all ended up walking back to the Victoria.

It is so funny. Several people asked 'how old is the old boy'. Mr K jokes that he is never quite sure if they are asking about Archie or him.

When people ask how old Archie is, Mr K could say, “I still have my hearing you know”, or words to that effect.

The grandson interfered with my viewing my team getting hammered this afternoon, I was having a jolly good time, then having a few minutes viewing (or resting) then more playtime, and in the end, I ignored the play on the box for the play on the floor, then a play in the garden then a play on the footie pitch outback. And I was so disappointed (yeah) that the little man and youngest of all my grandkids had to go home!
I'm now in the recovery position just like my football club!
at least @ianpspurs will be happy today!

It is not how old you are, it is now young you feel!

I still believe that I'm in my thirties!
Not what you are thinking!, That's my waistline!

Finally again, after that chicken upset my readings for a few days.

Nighttime Wildlife Camera
Badger & Ginger Cat risked Midnight's wrath. Fox said Nah, I'll pass...
54secs

One of 'my' foxes has mange.
Spent the last hour researching.
Found an organisation who will send treatment for free, so that will arrive in next few days.
Also found a wildlife place which has a preventative treatment, a supplement foxes need to help stop mange, so I bought some of that to help as well.

Creative - from some soft pastel paintings I did a few years ago. I have since read that you can use water on soft pastels. So I tried it. I also had some Aquarelle Neocolour pastels Caran D'Ache (pastels to add water to), and played with these. So, a sort of pastel mixed media painting.

Feel like breakfast early today...

And a cuppa needed...

Have your best day...

Smashing. Enjoy that early breakfast.

Good morning everyone from a damp but not raining start here in Llanberis. 5.4 on the scales of doubt this am. Some heavy rain showers drove plans sideways a bit yesterday so the hopefuls for topping Snowdon are thinking that today will be better. Side shows included the lake railway, a castle and a slate mine museum. We found chanterelles in the woods and made a fire in the fire pit. No toasted marshmallows though as the children found them disgusting the only time we tried it with them (thank goodness for that). Art bit finished. I have my art pad with me, an ink pen brush and a water brush so will see what turns out. Hope your day is a Sunday. I shall move on to some koffy.

Can just picture myself on one of those little boats with those towering canyon walls making me insignificant.

My mischievousness says work out Archie's age in human years. I am making an assumption that Mr K is not actually as old as that, but it will make them stop and think...
Yes, that would be a really mischievous answer @gennepher - especially as Archie's age in human years is now 119. Just for the record Mr K isn't that old - although some times he feels like he is - as I also do sometimes.
