So I unsuccessfully tried glyclazide, after two hypos , one which I thought was a heart attack, went from 11 to 3 in an hour.

Severe severe tiredness , and my fingers are so sore from all the testing.

So now back to square one.

Want to try me on Jardiance but I am very prone to water infections and been in hospital as they been so bad in past.

I’m off glyclozide 3 days now but got very bad anxiety and finding it hard to work as feel so depressed and scared of having a hypo even though I’m off it now.

Testing that many times a day feels like a constant reminder of having this illness.

I know a lot have it worse but just want to escape medical problems for a bit.

Is this what they call diabetes burn out!

Tired of the same boring foods doc thinks I may be celiac too.getting tested.

Sorry just a rant today I think il have a good cry this afternoon , then onward upwards next week

Bad days can be very exhausting, mentally as well as physically.

You mention boring foods - what do you eat, and what do you miss?

I found it essential to find substitutes for my favourite foods and to experiment with new recipes and some new foods. This week I have 'mashed potato squash', in small quantities as still carbs but less than real potato and a low carb spiced cake.

Hi Tricia thanks for the reply. I’m missing a big bar of chocolate to be honest and chips & even my porridge.
Daft I know. Also mainly the feeling of being a free spirit.

I might go to Waitrose tonight and treat myself to something

I will be having pork and mushrooms tonight, possibly with stir fry.
When I was out shopping I had cramp and bought some salted peanuts and water, which got rid of it, but I an now really hungry for the first time in years and have been eating all day.
Perhaps I might try some chocolate. I bought some 85% cocoa chocolate. I used to get 95% but have not seen it for ages, so did not buy any of any kind.
Even before diagnosis I'd have thought chips and porridge very boring.
