So, yes, my nephew landed in Chichester ~10 days ago.
I'd already mentioned about him and our 'quest for Omnipod 5' in this thread:

https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/moving-to-the-uk-nhs-covers-pump-supplies-cgms-omnipod-5.198361/

I thought perhaps an update would help me get even more guidance.
He aready visited the GP and she said she'd refer him to a hospital this week. we dont know which hospital yet.
He did call Omnipod and they said they dont know any "Omnipod-Friendly" hospitals/clinics. They also said he'd better "wait till end of October for new regulations to take place."
I cant decipher that.

I don't know what the reference to new regulations means. I just wanted to wish your nephew good luck but, also, to mentioned that time on waiting lists vary after a referral has been made. I hope his wait will not be too long.

@payam7777777 you may have better luck getting an answer about new regulations from the charity Diabetes UK as they are involved with reviewing and consulting on NICE guidelines.
They have a forum like DMM but also have a hotline which is open weekday office hours.

New regulations would be regarding having a looping pump combined with a funded CGM. I'm not sure how far away this is but I have heard of an existing pump user getting a pump replacement recently (warranty expired) and at the same time being moved to a funded CGM, they stayed with same pump.
