What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.4 FBG finger prick this morning, with 6.8 on Libre, which reduced to 6.4 after a cup of restorative tea.

Storm Ciaran is still blowing a hooley outside, blew the access boards out in my bedroom eaves in the middle of the night, gave me a right shock! Don’t think there’s any damage, but I’m not going out to check until it lessens off a bit. The feline has retreated to the basement cupboard, paws over ears. I might do the same.
Stay safe, people.

Wowzer! Ruby Tuesday (cat) sends her best to the feline. Hope all's well upstairs

7.4mmol! I’m wondering if my higher numbers are due to the clocks changing and I’m lying awake for half an hour as I refuse to get up before 7 o’clock! So does this allow the Dawn phenomenon to kick in.

Have a lovely Thursday everyone and if you’re in the uk hope you’re not battered by storm Cairan too much x

Yes. When the clocks go back an hour, your routine changes too.
Your body clock may be operating on BST for up to 6 days afterwards, until it adapts to GMT.

Morning All. Firmly in the doldrums with 8.1 likely due to supper of sausages and beans (the culprit) after planning something possible on the picnic stove if we lost power! Oh well today’s another day and carry on carrying on the only option. Take care everyone.
