Removing a Libre

Softening the sticky stuff with neat conditioner or shampoo or moisturiser is a necessity for me. Sticks like a limpet

Yes. Once you've applied the new one. You just need to scan it and then it'll take an hour to start up.
 
After once doing the rip it off quick method, never again! Now I liberally douse it in cheap alcohol hand sanitiser (not the gel type), leave it for a few seconds and then it peels off easily and doesn’t leave a big red mark.

You don't mean the sort that we were using during the Coronavirus pandemic? I used baby lotion. It was a bit difficult, and there's a bit of a target on my arm, but no pain.

Yup, I have several bottles of the stuff still lying around. The stuff that comes out like water. It soaks into the sticky plaster if you lift a wee edge.

I find the best way to remove my Libre is in the shower. Slowly peel off a small sea and let the water get to the glue to listen it.

Yep, my first one was ripped off by a nurse, as I was doing a trial in the early days. The results worried her so much a picture was taken and went in with all the other results. I now always tease off In shower.
