What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.5 FBG this morning. Not feeling great, have been changing the timing of my blood pressure medication to the evening to see if it makes a difference to my resting heart rate/FBG levels, so it may be connected. Or possibly the slightly over ripe smoked haddock for breakfast. Serves me right

Have a good Tuesday all

strange 3.7 this morning but i feel fine, but on the really good side of things i had my Hba1c check on the 5th Feb and it came back this year after all my hard work in getting my weight off at 46mmol/mol finally into the pre diabetes range first time below 50 for about 5 years

Only 18.6 today.
Hello @Charlotte73 and welcome back to this FBG thread. We're pleased you could join us once again.

18.6 mmol/L! Is that all? That FBG reading is awfully high, as I think you realise. Please telephone your GP's surgery first thing tomorrow morning and ask for the earliest available appointment with your doctor. Don't wait for them to contact you. S/he may want to adjust your medication.

Once again, welcome

Blood prick, 6.5
replaced Dexcom last night and it’s as wonky as heck. I started off with a low glucose warning2.9…I knew there was no chance of that, fingerprick 6.9. As of right now I think it’s finally calmed down, I’ve calibrated a few times.
leg day at the gym this morning, some shopping , lunch and then a nice walk with hubby and pup. It’s a cool one but bright sunny skies and snow covering everything, a sweet winter wonderland.

Oh fiddle sticks. I knew I’d eaten too much albeit low carb and I‘d finished by 7pm FBG @ 7:25am 6.3  I’ve had indigestion all night and my back pain is really bad. Going to ring admissions today see if I’m anywhere near being given a date :( feeling sorry for myself. I’ll take that hug thank you @DEBBIESCOTT

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone x
