What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Libre 7.4
GlucoNavii 5.8
for me this morning. After adding some mashed potato (Smash, actually, with butter and cream) to last night’s supper, I am thrilled. Good to be in the hive as well.

@Bcgirl that will be a thermal shock going to Sri Lanka from a snowy cold homebase- enjoy every moment of your holiday!
@MissMuffett you will be back in the hive in no time. To be honest, you probably were anyway, given your reading was only 0.3 off, and there is a 10% error allowance in all glucometers.
@PenguinMum a week ago your reading was in the 8s if I remember correctly, so you are doing great.
Thank you

How is the robovac? Poor little thing …

The robovac survived thankfully!

My FBGs have not been good all weekend ….

Saturday Fingerprick 7.7 Libre 7.1
Sunday Fingerprick 10.0 Libre 10.1
Today Fingerprick 9.4 Libre 9.7

Have to get back on the wagon this week. The weekend was abit of naughty food which is much harder to bolus for. Thankfully im much better at maintaining in range during the day rather then in the wee hours of the morning when everything seems to catch up.

Checking in to say hello to everybody.
Is good to see many of you doing really well on the numbers.
Thanks for the lovely messages of support.
I'll get through this very busy period in a few weeks.
I have one grouch for today and that's hospital parking....... it's a nightmare! They are overpriced and that's if you find a space.
I had to park at the bottom car park at Stafford hospital and its a mission walking up a steep hill, just to reach the hospital main entrance.
If your walking is dodgy as mine is, it can be a horrible ordeal just making the appointments.

On to my reading and today's is a not too clever 11.2 mmol.
Swings and roundabouts and for now it's on the up...... Never mind, it is sure to be lower after a proper night sleep and the right food intake.
Was out for the day at a zoo and being famished when I arrived home, I succumbed to fish and chips.......
My bad......
Well hoping today is a lovely day for all of you ......I have a dermatology appointment today as my legs have been swollen with pitted edema, some blisters and ulcers appearing, which are mega painful and I'm sure there is some infection.
I'm hoping vasculitis, which I had three years ago has not returned.
It took 8 months for ulcers to heal on my legs after last episode of vasculitis.
Treatment was lots of steroid and antibiotics and changing dressing on legs twice daily.
Fingers crossed for that........

Good to hear from you @Ashybang and you sound positive despite your medical problems.

@RosemaryJackson good number today! That’ll keep you smiling.

@Bcgirl I hit the garden yesterday, first real exercise in months, nay, years! I had to come inside after just a hour due to feeling nauseous and about to pass out - checked my Libre and it was through the roof! I had no idea exercise would affect me like that - rather putting me off doing any now

My numbers stayed up in the 8s for the rest of the day and this morning’s reading wasn’t what I wanted.
Libre 7.8
GlucoNavii 7.2

Edit for typo.
