2024/25 Football Season

Pickfords performance was a clown job, and the team followed his example.
The clamour to play so many attacking options, was picked by the media, who still think no one should beat us especially at Wembley. It's the same empire argument, that we rule the waves etc.
And that music and tune was blaring throughout the second half.
This mentality needs to be history and nothing else.

You summed it up very nicely there mate. Lets see what Fiasco England give us on Sunday.
 
3-1 to England. I only watched 20 mins and gave up so I have no idea what I missed. Back to the normal football next weekend. Home to Bristol Rovers on Saturday for our lads. Hopefully the break has trained them up.
 
First half was pretty dire but as we did have the better players 1-0 was just, .......just about right.
Second half started the same, but a couple of subs changed it. Went 3 up, and Finland got a late consolation goal.
I really do think the media is picking the team and there is a few as always that are not as good as, those that won't get picked cos who they play for or not in the media s view. Which has always been biased towards the big four.

I very much doubt it will matter who we draw cos the way things are going they'll beat us lol. Unless it's Barnsley and after we beat em twice in a row they'd not wanna draw us lol.
 
Paul Gascoigne has bizarrely called on Sir Alex Ferguson to return as Manchester United manager.

Well they need someone fast cos they are sinking towards the championship lol. 5 points separates them from relegation lol. They have been worse than us so far this season and we are 2 Leagues lower lol.
 
Thomas Tuchel agrees deal to become new England manager

Despite links with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, England have decided to appoint Tuchel as Southgate's permanent successor.

He will become just the third foreign manager to take charge of the England men’s national team and the first since Fabio Capello departed in 2012.

Tuchel has been out of work since leaving Bayern Munich at the end of last season and despite failing to win a domestic trophy in 2023-24, his reputation remains sky-high, especially in England.

Well lets hope he is good for them. We shall find out on 14th and 17th Novermber. Greece and ROI.
