HBA1c in non-diabetics

I hope you are good.
I believe I found a study of non-diabetic HBA1c and now I'm looking for it I cannot find it, is anyone aware of a study of non-diabetic people's HBA1c?
I feel it would be nice to know what a normal person HBA1c is. For me, many many many years of evolution have refined a design and I feel we diabetics are told to run higher than a non-diabetic person and I curious to know how much higher.

It's always been a source of puzzlement to me that with this condition it's often harder to find out what "normal" looks like. Anyway, this little study gives you an idea:


contains a number of non-diabetic CGM profiles in response to various food items.

The graph attached below shows the HbA1c results for a number of non-diabetic Dutch adults: you'll see that the vast majority of people are somewhere in the range 36-42, with a big cluster around 38.
