What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Libre 4.2
Went swimming at 6.30am 1700m
wow some distance, how long are you in the water for ? i've pretty much stuck to ~30 mins water for swim only with the libre as states 30 minutes 1m, no clue for swim time used to spend hours in the pool, not any more just between 30-34 lengths lately when regularly did 1mil, 64+ lengths.

Morning All today 7.3 yesterday 8.1. This heat has finally caught up with my tummy which has flipped as it does in extreme heat. So today lots of fluids, odd bit LC toast, few berries and yogurt so light eating. My 5 week old grandaughter is coping reasonably well though my 18 month old grandson not so well esp at nights.
Take care everyone.

Five point nine on contour next

Love seeing that five -

Have a good day if you possibly can
Only way I can get the fives is testing before 5 o'clock. Got a 5.7 at 0415 but rose to 6.6 at normal get up time. Not a practical solution for me so have to keep working on the carbs.

- sorry to hear that.

For me the glucose rise happens as soon as I get up rather than the classic “ dawn”.

Even quite small energy demands do the same thing for me, ( use the loo at night : bing , up . Do a bit of DIY , bing - up , heaven forbid I do a bit of serious exercise….. )

Happy Canada Day! A gym member brought his trumpet to the gym and serenaded us with O Canada, made me smile.
It’s a hot one, the sun is shining and it’s gorgeous outside! Supposed to get into the high 30s today. It’s noon now and 29.
6.0 this morning. I can do better.

5.2l ibre2+ last day of the current 15 day. have yet to have a sensor come off within the last 6 months although have had a couple of sensors which needed replaced.

Fair bit of walking yesterday each time after meals appears to help a fair bit.

Have made the dr's surgery a little peeved off by refusing to get bloods done this coming week with them. Whats the point when over at the hospistal at the start of next week to attempt getting bloods done which are also doing tests ontop of a couple that can't be done at the dr's surgery?

Will be intersting to see hba1c compares to libres estimated. fingerpricks in general for me read 0.5 to 1.2 lower (after taking into account delay). Been just over a month now without insulin i think. Not having to eat so much rubbish to raise levels maybe i might be able to lose a few kg which have put on recently.
