What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.3 libre fingerprick 5.8
very heavy rain and little bit windy today. off for swim later
dr's first to collect urine bottle. wanting to check as colour different and little bit foamy presume alb/creatinine level up a little bit from prior result (which was just above high end of range back in june).

Morning All sorry MIA again just having a general sulk and fed up ness about Diabetes which is no use at all. Have been testing just not teporti g and mid 7s and early 8s as usual. This morning a surprising 6.5 which needed to be reported. Get well all with lurgys and other aches and pains.

No caffeine is a tough one. Tougher than no food I find. Fingers crossed for the test

Its interesting your eFGR result 70 in UK I've only seen if > 60 for result unless CKD then actual figures or if less than 60. have some protein in pee last time checked pretty foamy last week bit will see if I get actual figure next time bloods get done.

What was Ur alb/creatinine ratio out of interest?

I’ll add to this. In Canada we get our GFR numbers also, my last one was 86 (impressive since I’ve gone low carb…used to be less than 60). My blood creatinine is 64 umol/L, urine creatinine is 1.2 mmol/L and no ratio as my albumin was undetectable.
 
5.8 this morning, it’s cold ! Minus 3 this morning, blah. Gym was a bike ride and upper body weights. Dollar store for a few Halloween decorations and then Costco for eggs and almond flour….but ended up with lots of other things. That always happens.
 
15.6 this morning. Been 14-17 fasting for months now, since I stopped Mounjaro. Even went up to 29 in the day recently, but the GPs don't seem to think there's anything urgent to address. On Ozempic and Glimepiride at the moment but they're doing very little.

Lost 35lbs in the last 16 months or so and keeping that off.

It takes so long to get to see my specialist diabetes GP - 19th November is my next appointment. Expecting to go back on Mounjaro again, but I'm so susceptible to bruising, injecting MJ makes a mess of my legs.
