hi i’m a 50 year old military veteran with multiple health problems from ankolysing spondylitis cervical spondilosis degenerative disc disease type 2 diabetes calcinosis cutis brvo peripheral neuropathy non fatty liver disease i’m 8 weeks into mounjaro and still not losing weight im eating so much less food but can’t exercise as my mobility is restricted any tips or meal plans would be greatly appreciated

i note you have said mobility is restricted so can't exercise. have you tried walking in the swimming pool that should be easier as the water will help support part of weight making it perhaps a little less painful.

Not all exercise requires to be on your feet, could try the likes of some fairly light weight straps for use on your arms with just general moving arms around. that would help to burn a little more energy same for legs (very light).

unsure of meds your currently on, have found pregablin helps a fair bit for nerve pain. TENS machine is another thing which you could consider. Would highly suggest if you've not been to a pain management clinic yet ask for a referal if in constant pain (which i'm presuming you are). there are pain relief injections available which can last various degree's of time unfortantly due to steroid use that can have an impact on your blood sugar levels raising them a bit. (unknown how much).

Exercise -
@Richmy, apologies if you have gone down this route, have you spoken to a physiotherapist about the types of exercises you can do? I have polyarthritis, which means none of my joints are free of arthritis and it includes my lumber and thoracic spine , so I understand part of your situation. It may seem like you are in an impossible situation as far as exercise is concerned due to your physical constraints and the pain that comes with it.
It certainly helps to exercise your muscles as they are the biggest users of blood sugars. I would consult a physiotherapist to see if your body can support some limited weight training. Everything helps. It’s a chicken and egg situation as muscles support joints , but your joints are too painful to exercise.

Just had another thought pain management clinics alongside physiotherapist can refer you for hydrotherapy can read a little about it or locate your nearest (registered option at https://www.swimming.org/justswim/find-hydrotherapy-pools/ tends to be very large waiting time for NHS hydrotherapy pools and can be trek to get to I do live fairly remote so perhaps you could have better luck
