Football 2025/26 Season.

Away to Bolton tomorrow dinner time. That's an interesting match. Don't think it matters if we win lose or draw. Play offs have gone now I think. Mathematical wise we can still sneak it but weighing us down are the game in hand that Stevenage have. And I think one of the others has games in hand too. Watch this space.
Good luck to all our teams this weekend hope they all win.
 
Yet again we were denied all 3 points by a bent referee letting the game go on longer that it should have. Bolton equalised in the 11the minuet of 8 mins stoppage time. The game rumbled on to 13 mins before it ended. That's 3 times we have been robbed of the 3 points cos of longer than allotted stoppage time. It's over now cos Stevenage are winning and the gap is now 6 points and Stevenage still have 3 games to play after today where as we only have 2. Onwards to a Home tie with Mansfield next Saturday. League one again next season. Cardiff and Lincoln are promoted. Lincoln not confirmed as champions just yet.

Leeds won 3-0, puts them 3 points behind Newcastle now

FGR lost at Hartlepool.

I'm not expecting to be happy with results tomorrow lol

Thanks. Another season in League one won't harm and it might help us build a stronger team. Glad Leeds won. Tranmere are skating on thin ice now just 1 point off relegation zone. They have a match in hand over the bottom 2. Lets hope they hold on and stay in the division
 
I just get fed up of rival fans chanting 'second again ole ole'..especially when most of their teams would love to be as high as 2nd!.
 
Lincoln are the champion's of league one. Cardiff are runner's up. Bolton are playing off. Looks like Stockport are too. The other places are going to the wire.
 
Here we go with the penultimate weekend of the 2025/26 season. We are Home to Mansfield. Doesn't really matter what we do cos the play offs have gone. I win would be good though all the same. Good luck to all our teams in action this weekend. Come on Tranmere bag a win and get safe @Lamont D
 
And Lincoln do the Treble. 100 points, auto promo and League Champions. We did that one year while in the old Division 4. I believe Mick Buxton was the man in charge. Speaking of us we are 0-2 down to Mansfield.
 
Oh dear we got defeated 1-4. Still in 9th place and hopefully that's where we'll finish next week. 3 horse race for the last remaining play spot. Stevenage are in there but Luton and Plymouth can nick it in the last game next week. 1 more relegation place to be filled a 2 horse race for that. In League 2 I really feel sickened for @Lamont D Tranmere could get dragged in to the relegation zone. I'm hoping and praying that they survive. @zand good luck tomorrow for Leeds. Hope they make it to Wemberlee. I might watch it tomorrow afternoon.

Thanks John, getting nervous now.

Arsenal won 1-0, a good result against Newcastle.
FGR won 5-0! And are in the playoffs.
 
@zand Bad luck yesterday in the FA Cup. You did well to get that far. Now you gotta beat Burnley on Friday night. I think you are reasonably safe anyway cos the way Spurs are playing it's them that's going down. It was 1977 when they last got relegated from the top tier.
 
Here we go with the final weekend of footy. Tomorrow sees us trip down to Womble Country to take on AFC Wimbledon. Be nice to go out with a win. It's crunch time for Stevenage, Bradford, Stockport and Plymouth as to who plays off and who stops put for one more season. At the other end it's Exeter's last chance to escape relegation at the expense of Leyton Orient. Exciting stuff.
