Hi,
I'm Pete, and live in Cornwall. I was diagnosed as Type 1 about 9yrs ago. I inject Apidra and Tresiba daily, and have continuous monitoring using FreeStyle Libre.
Never before thought to join a forum such as this until I realised there is a wealth of information here to learn from.

Welcome to the forum @Pete H !

I was diagnosed almost 10 years ago (initially T2, rediagnosed T1 two years later), and I'm very happy I found the forum early on.
 
Welcome @Pete H Twelve years in here, Fiasp, Tresiba and Freestyle Libre. Just recently got an Apple phone and have downloaded an app so that I can always see my readings. Both on watch and I phone. A boon for driving and exercising. I have learnt so much from this forum and put into place lots of what I have learned. Would never have done this without listening to people actually dealing with diabetes day to day.
