i am looking for experiences on saxagliptin i.e. side effects, efficacy etc. Anyone got anyexperiences they would care to share?

I take 25mg a day and it's helped me stabilise things now to deal with losing some weight. To help more :)

I take sitagliptin and the wife is on saxagliptin.

They are inhibitors that are diabetic drugs which increases insulin output and helps control your blood glucose levels.

If you want more information, then the science is described better on the Wikipedia web pages.

We both do not have side effects from taking the meds.

Update :
in 2012, consultant wanted me to try Saxagliptin but It was not effective at all ( less than 20mg Gliclazide) so cut carbs further and came off all D drugs:cool:
