Well after reading some of the bad experiences people have had on here regarding getting help with test strips, Lancets etc.

I was shocked when I picked up my scripts for 50 strips, 204 lancets and a sharps box! Now it cost me £23 cause Im waiting for my exemption cert to come through but I can claim it all back.

Fingers crossed in 10 days time my first meeting with Diabetic Nurse goes well and I will be a happy Tigger Bear.

It may well be that the scripts will stop but at least I tried and this time succeeded. My advice is KEEP TRYING you don't get if you don't ask

Certainly true, I wonder how many diabetics just accept that they won't get test strips without asking first.
 
I normally would accept it but to be honest Im in rebel mode at the moment lol and must be intimidating when a leather clad biker turns up with a helmet cam on lol I would give em anything they ask for lol

What bike do you ride, I was a Suzuki and later a Kawasaki man myself (difficult to tell from your pic what bike it is).
 
I have 2! Summer bike is a cruiser Suzuki Intruder and winter bike is Suzuki Bandit. The one in the pic is the cruiser

My fiance keeps trying to encourage me to have a Suzuki Intruder 125. He reckons that I'll join him as more than a pillion one day... that day is a long long time away!

Glad you got the stuff! Please could I "borrow " you to "persuade" my doc? Lol!
