Room 101

My husband would like to nominate his brother for buying xbox live for our eldest. It's really great as she can link up with her cousins. They are going to buy it for our youngest too but her birthdays in the summer so I've had to cough up for a 3 month subscription for her as otherwise she can't join in. Instead of getting our morning cuddle we have been abandoned so that they could start playing at 7:30 am! On a Sunday morning too! What happened to going round peoples houses?! I'm sure my brother in law had an ulterior motive as he probably wants to link up with my husband and their other brother whilst they play call of duty or some other mindless ****! I guess were just really old because although we have ipad minis we read books on therm. Although I am addicted to this forum! Lol!

Indeed, I would say it's Chelsea's season now, still Arsenal holding on to the 4th spot will ensure a Champions League spot next year :)

Ah, yes, there's always next year......we say this every year in our household.

So much for 'little horses who haven't learned to jump' !

I'd like to nominate the numpty at work who bet me £60 that arsenal would win the league lol this was before Christmas, kinda looking forward to work in the morning, being a Chelsea fan makes all much sweeter :) I'm giving it to my charity so it's ok to gloat :)

Minecraft and all the arguments it causes! And the inventor of it! I know I normally advocate all things scandi but seriously!!!!!! I hate the music, the aesthetics and the links on you tube telling you how to play. I especially loathe Stampy Longnose and his friend Iballistic squid for their hours and hours of you tube videos. They are so annoying that they should be children's tv presenters! I am sure they are really sweet kind people but I am starting to think that we might need to move the xbox to the snug as I can't take any more! My husband is hiding upstairs and I think my ears are bleeding! Before you say it - yes we are weak parents and deserve everything we get - lol!

HAHAHAH I've only just seen this, and it did make me cackle. I'm a big Minecraft fan (though I do have to be in the mood to play it) but can see where you're coming from. There's only so many times you can hear the same sound effects before your eye starts to twitch a little and you feel like you need to go for a long walk ;)

As I am writing this my children have fallen out with each other and their cousin. I rest my case! :hilarious:

Really sorry but I love to crank the volume after a bad day at work. Sorry Catherine! :hilarious:

I'll nominate anyone who phones me and tells me I can claim compensation for a car accident I never had in the last 12 months and the injury sustained that I never ever sustained !

That zingy music they play while the presenters are reading the news headlines. It gets right under my cuticles and makes me think of revenge on the producer of the programme.

I nominate the amateur coffee machine makers who made the ****** machine I bought! First one never worked at all, second one has lasted about three months. I LOVE my early morning coffee with a wee bit of cream, it sets me up for the day and not having it makes me cranky...did yah hear me? CRANKY! AAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!....... AND I can't find the **** blasted cafetiere either, I know it's here somewhere blast it! Oh dear....:grumpy: Deep breath Kay...;)

I have one with a timer which you can set to come on for when you walk down the stairs to freshly made coffee- bliss. Only problem is I switched to decaf so I no longer use it - sigh!

I'll dump my doctor in there happily...:mad::mad:... and I'll throw away the key as well. Time before last when I saw him he was happy to let me have a prescription for test strips and I understood it was to be a repeat one. Pharmacist said it wasn't... So when I saw him Wednesday I asked about it and he came out with the usual standard type 2 story, but said I could have more if there was cause to believe there was a problem at any point. I did get a another pack out him because I said I found them very useful... But I am seriously p***ed off that he's changed his tune - so much so that a got myself into a real paddy yesterday and gave myself a migraine.:grumpy:

Know the feeling. Same issue. Bought sd code free from ebay. Strips for it cost £7 for 50 so a third of the chemist price and meter is easy to use! :banghead:
