Room 101

I agree
1/ Pretend Im somebody else
2/ Pretend Im not a homeowner, just a tennant
3/ Pretend I am hard of hearing

I had a friend who left the phone connected and used to put the it into the laundry basket, leave it there for a bit before replacing it. Hah, I would forget where the **** thing was :) And yes, those callers can definitely go into Room 101.

People who get all their shopping through the checkout and then search all their pockets or handbag for purse or wallet and then shuffle the credit cards etc to find the right one

Or then realise that they haven't got one with them. Lol

i have just thought of a new one id like entered..... petrol station attendants that treat people like criminals because they have forgotten their money/card, twice in the past week ive seen this happen, if people were trying to steel the petrol they would run off without paying, they wouldnt go into the shop and appologise, they both times where treated really badly and embarrassed in front of everyone in the queue, taking a note of their name number plate and phone number along with a promise to bring the money in a couple of days would surely surfice?

Junk mail
My brother-in-law has a very effective way of dealing with this. Keep the envelope, fill with lots of other junk mail and return it to them . Wastes their time - someone is paid to open that envelope and costs them the postage.heh, heh, heh!

I used to do this while waiting for theMailPreference Service to kick in - it costs the senders money, keeps someone in employment, and gave me a laugh. The last bit is very important.

My husband says he's seen an even better one on the LFGSS forum. Fill box with rocks. Cello tape prepaid envelope to box. They then have to go down to their local sorting office AND pay a lot of money to get the box of rocks! Rofl! :)

i got a card just before christmas saying i had a package that had underpaid postage i think it said it was 2p underpaid, so i drive the 10 miles to the sorting office, stand in a queue while this grumpy dude deals even grumpier customers who all seem to have a bone to pick about something, i finally get my package, it was a letter, it contained a pen someone had sent me as a christmas present with there company name on it, it was some sort of alternative to a christmas card and the pen was broken, i paid more for it than the pen was worth even if it had not been broken, i was so pleased

Had same experience involving a free light bulb. The road was closed so drove an additional 5 miles out of the way and queued for an hour to discover my parcel was a "free" light bulb from Southern electric.

...... and I bet when you plugged the bulb in it 'blew' straight away and you pulled a muscle in your neck while changing it and the old bulb fell on the floor and broke and you cut your finger on the glass and got blood all over the new carpet........ :-)

No but it sounds like it would have been pR for the course - lol!

Is it too late to add a couple of things to room 101?

1. football teams who lose 6-0 when my son and husband make the effort to go to watch them....I am planning to be out when they get home. They will not be happy!
2. football referees who send off a player by mistake?!?

I would like to put the dieticians who advocate starchy carbs and low fat for diabetics in please

Pricing. Why does a small pack of mixed nuts costs more than a bar of chocolate this aint helping when I am trying to behave myself:arghh:

Not a good day for Arsenal, a shame with it being Arsene Wenger's 1000th game in charge of the club :(

No not a good day, still it might mean that it will be easier to get tickets again now!

Indeed, I would say it's Chelsea's season now, still Arsenal holding on to the 4th spot will ensure a Champions League spot next year :)

Minecraft and all the arguments it causes! And the inventor of it! I know I normally advocate all things scandi but seriously!!!!!! I hate the music, the aesthetics and the links on you tube telling you how to play. I especially loathe Stampy Longnose and his friend Iballistic squid for their hours and hours of you tube videos. They are so annoying that they should be children's tv presenters! I am sure they are really sweet kind people but I am starting to think that we might need to move the xbox to the snug as I can't take any more! My husband is hiding upstairs and I think my ears are bleeding! Before you say it - yes we are weak parents and deserve everything we get - lol!
